Each 100 Gram (RCM) Royal Canadian Mint Gold Bar arrives sealed in a Royal Canadian Mint assay package. The packaging includes clear plastic to protect the bar and a black assay card surrounding it. The assay features the mint logo and identifying hallmarks of the bar, as well as its serial number and the signature of the RCM’s Chief Assayer.
RCM bars range from small one-ounce wafers popular with individual investors to massive 400-ounce bars used in institutional transactions and central bank reserves. The Mint’s reputation for quality and its innovative anti-counterfeiting features, including micro-engraving and radial lines on some products, have made Canadian gold bars highly sought after in global markets.
The obverse of the RCM Gold Bar comes with the logo for the mint, as well as all of the identifying hallmarks of the bar. The Royal Canadian Mint’s logo features a stylized maple leaf, Canada’s most iconic national symbol, rendered in a clean, modern design that reflects the institution’s blend of tradition and innovation. The logo incorporates the Mint’s full name in both English and French (“Monnaie royale canadienne”), reflecting Canada’s bilingual character. On the reverse of the 100 Gram Royal Canadian Mint Gold Bar, you’ll find the stylized maple leaf logo in a repeating pattern.
